Welcome To Vigourskate

Hi there, my name is Randy Joycelyn and I have been roller skating for over 15 years, and skateboarding for about over 7 years now! My first skate was bought by my dad when I was like 8 or 9 just because I got really fascinated about roller skating when I saw a group of people skating on the street, like bird flying, and even now I still feel it that way.

And up until I went to high school and joined the skating club, I wasn’t really into skating skills and gear, but focusing more on the experience. But when the club member did lots of dazzling movements with his (or her) equipment, which I had never seen and practiced, I was frozen, and a little jealous.

This is when I realized how much time I wasted, and I wouldn’t let it happen again and get back all things missed.

Since then, I started getting more into skating skills, movements, and gear, and learning other skating categories, like skateboarding and ice skating. And on this site, I will share all my learnings with you.

My Mission On This Site Is To Help You Skating In Greater Comfort And More Responsibly.

How I create Content

All the content you will find on this site has been planned and edited by me to ensure we meet the highest quality standards. I do tend to use freelance writers to help me putting articles together but nothing is put online without a green light from me, the chief editor. This is to ensure all information we publish is accurate and you can trust it.

As much as possible we try to get our hands on the items mentioned in this blog to get real-life experience with them but it is not always possible so we also rely on extensive online feedback from real customers of these items.

I review the gears by normal ways, but also the long-trip way because of my travelling hobby. When I reached a place, I will not hike it, or enjoy the beauty by vehicles, but put on my skates. And here are two photos about my latest trip to Tibet:

Besides, with the help of my friends, I have also started the roller skating training course for children. By this, I can give them more professional information, and also make sure if some skills and gears fit children well.

I also spend a lot of time in my local stores and talk to their staff to get to know all the items that come out and which ones may be of interest to you.

All in all, I want this site to be a place you can trust and that is not rigged by brand sponsorship so you can use our information to make the best decisions for yourself when it comes to your skating journey.
